Curam to expand offering with CQC-regulated care packages 

LONDON, 20 AUGUST 2024: Curam, the largest Care Professional marketplace and home-care technology platform in the UK, today announced its new offering of Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulated care packages increasing accessibility to high-quality care for clients with specialist care needs.   

Curam can now offer clients who are publicly funded, as well as those privately funded, the option of CQC regulated care. This allows NHS, Local Authorities and Case Management clients who previously were unable to book care through Curam the option to book CQC regulated care packages.

So, we are delighted to announce we are now able to offer CQC regulated care packages.  With our new CQC regulated status, we can expand our care packages to offer care to those who originally couldn’t access CQC regulated care on Curam and really need it.” 

Curam Care Professionals have a sector leading average experience of 10 years. Care Professionals offering hourly shift packages are paid an average of £20 per hour, and those who offer 10-hour shifts are paid an average of £16 per hour- higher than the national average for care workers of £11.35.
