E17 8EU 97135 I have worked as a carer and support worker for 5 years now. I have worked in numerous settings from care homes to community day centres, to residential care and private care. I enjoy being with people, I am a natural people person with really great interpersonal skills and a great sense of empathy which seems to always have a positive impact in the environment I am working in. People seem to appreciate my presence and the care that I serve and this in return inspires me and encourages me to be an even better carer. I always help my clients feel safe in my care and comfortable. I always make sure I am respectful and treat everyone as my equal and this has in the past, helped clients to come out of their shell, be more communicative and engaging in conversation, more enlivened and interactive. I am a positive person and believe in creating positive memories and experiences with people in order to make others feel good, which creates reciprocity and healthy relationships. I am creative and in the past have used dance, yoga and arts and crafts with clients which have been effective as means of connecting with others and bringing a sense of joy and peace. I am patient and a good listener and have practiced these skills and strengthened these skills through my vocation. I am very competent and trained in peg feeding, administering medication orally and through peg tube, in moving and handling, feeding and looking after people and assisting with personal care. I have am also trained in social therapy and in the person centred approach, which takes into consideration and recognises that each person is unique with their own rhythm and needs, therefore learning to be flexible as a carer and willing to adapt to each person I am caring for and having the capacity to view life from the others perspective. 0 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"1, 4, 3","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"1, 4, 3","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"1, 4, 3","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"1, 4, 3","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"1, 4, 3","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"1, 4, 3","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":"1, 4, 3"}

E17 6AD 289623 I love helping people and get a sense of satisfaction from seeing how my care makes a difference to people's lives. Seeing my clients achieve personal goals gives me a boost of confidence and reminds me why I love to work in care. I've always had a soft spot for seniors and wanted to make a difference in their lives. I've always been passionate about helping others, and find it particularly rewarding to work with individuals who need care. I believe as a carer, I can make a significant difference in others lives. I know what I do helps them to stay living independently in their own homes. My clients love to see me walking in the door. Caring for other people makes me feel valued. I learned a lot when I started doing that job, I had training and a lot of practice with hoists, I worked with ceiling hoists, moving hoists, standing hoists, I worked with people who have a catheter - I know how to clean it and change it, worked night shifts, I worked with couples,I worked with people who are at the end of their lives, with people who are in bed, where they depend on me for bathing, hygiene, dressing, feeding, giving to drink, giving medicines - that means the whole concern for that person, I worked with people who have MS and it helps in everything and when they have anxiety and it was difficult for them to accept the situation they are in, where we cried together and sometimes there were moments where we even laughed until tears, I worked with people who are demented, have Alzheimer's, mostly I had people who were me very good, kind, but only when you really reach out to them, when they gain trust and have no fear, there is always a way to achieve it, I learned a lot in this job, by nature I am a cheerful person, full of understanding, patience and friendly, I am always smiling and joking, I love pets, I love to cook and I love when my clients are involved in everything I do, I love walks, I love board games, reading, watching TV, I hope she said something more about herself and my experiences, so much from me. Available from the 9 January, which can be discussed. 0 2 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"3","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"3","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"3","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"3","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"3","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"3","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":"3"}

E10 7NX 209665 I am compassionate and patient individual, I have dedicated the past 8 years of my life to the care industry, helping clients with various conditions such as dementia, chronic illness, companion care and end of life care. My approach to care is rooted in getting to know my clients and their unique interests, hobbies and preferences, so I can help them live a fulfilling life. I served my most recent client as a live in carer. He is a 91 year old British male whom I went on to build a family-like relationship. Our routine was quite a simple but detailed one. - We typically wake up at about 7:30am - I get him out of bed - Assist him in brushing his teeth, - Assist him with shaving and trimming - Prepare a warm shower and assist him to get a shower - Dry him up and apply various creams to the right parts as he sometimes have some body itching. - I then dress him up and give his morning medication and eye drops - After this I lead him downstairs where he have his prayers while I prepare his breakfast based on his diet and health preferences - After breakfast I get him some coffee while I typically go to the store to fetch some stuff or do some letter posting or other task before his lunch time. - We typically watch TV while I assist him with any tasks or activities like going to toilet etc - I installed an indoor bell and place a tagged around his neck so he can ring at anytime for me to attend to his needs. - I take him for his appointments and more out door activity that he desires This is just a brief of my last role but everyday with my client was different and and I enjoyed every single day. In general, I take pride in my extensive training and qualifications. My skills and expertise include personal grooming, hygiene, toileting, cooking, and cleaning, as well as providing companionship, emotional support, and respite care. My decision to become a carer stems from a deep desire to help others, and my background in healthcare as a nursing assistant. I am experienced in anxiety and depression care and have developed excellent communication skills that allow me to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, exploring nature, and listening to music. I am also a member of my local church and volunteer to help run children's activities. Being a carer has given me the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives, and I am passionate about providing the highest standard of care to those who need it the most. I hope that this personal statement gives you a sense of my experience and passion for the care industry. I am committed to providing compassionate, reliable and high-quality care to my clients, and I look forward to the opportunity to contribute my skills and experience to your care needs. 0 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"1, 4, 5, 3","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"1, 4, 5, 3","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"1, 4, 5, 3","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"1, 4, 5, 3","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"1, 4, 5, 3","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"1, 4, 5, 3","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":"1, 4, 5, 3"}
