B75 7RY 232332 I am Mavis, a hardworking and a diligent 37 years young lady with over 10 years of experience in medical/surgical nursing in the hospital setting and over 5 years of experience as a nursing instructor, I believe that I possess the skills, knowledge, and passion necessary to excel in this role. Throughout my nursing career, I have gained over 72 months of clinical experience and 60 months of clinical tutoring. Additionally, I have 36 months of nursing management experience, which has honed my leadership skills and my ability to manage a team of healthcare professionals effectively. I am a registered nurse in Ghana and hold a certification in Leadership and Management in Health. I am also certified in BLS, demonstrating my commitment to patient safety and emergency care. I have started the NMC-UK registration process. My passion for nursing goes beyond simply carrying out clinical duties; I am committed to providing exceptional patient care that is delivered with compassion, empathy ,respect, and dignity. I believe that every patient deserves to be treated as an individual, with their unique needs and preferences taken into account. I take pride in providing patient education and health teaching, empowering patients to take an active role in their own care. I find fulfilment in caring for patients with stroke, dementia, disabilities. I support Patient with personal care, medication, tidying up the house, playing with their pets, arranging ward robes, reading to them. Most recently, I have been working as a Senior Carer in Healthcare in the UK, where I have been providing domiciliary care services to patients in their homes. Prior to this, I worked at Nyaho Medical Centre as a staff nurse in the emergency room and medical/surgical areas, as well as a Nurse Manager in the primary care (Out Patient Department) area. Due to the sympathy and love I have for humanity, I together with a book club I own organized old but gold for about 30 elderly men and women in my neighbour hood. This is an initiative to take care of elderly people who are in need. During the same time frame, I worked as a part-timer at the CarePlus Ghana as a senior home carer for a period of two years. This has positioned me to be abreast with the demands of the job and has empowered me to provide quality and safe care to all service users As a mother of two, I am well able to take care of children as I do appreciate their needs and demands. I love reading, exercising (gyming) and I love sharing stories of hope to light the path of everyone in need of it. I love smiling and I am always positioned to support my service users in which ever way I can. I love people. I believe that my experience and skills make me a strong candidate for this role in your home/facility. I am enthused about the opportunity to work with such a noble caring institution. I am committed to putting in all the work and commitment needed to succeed and would love the opportunity to explain my skills further and how I can assist you in a consultation. {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":false,"field_care_type_first":"","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":false,"field_care_type_second":"","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":false,"field_care_type_third":"","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":false,"field_care_type_fourth":"","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":false,"field_care_type_fifth":"","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":false,"field_care_type_sixth":"","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":false,"field_care_type_seven":""}

DE12 6QY 26362 I have been in the Care Industry for about 12years +. At present I am working on behalf of the NHS for Pulse at Home as a Community Support Worker which I really enjoy. I have been doing this for just over 2 yrs now. My daily visits consist of personal care, showering, pad change, change from night wear to day wear, apply cream on body, do the beds, breakfast, give or prompt client to take medication as per Mar Chart or blister pack. Use thicker in drinks where needed, make lunch, tea, wash dishes, dry and put them away. Light house work. Put dirty washing in the machine. If client uses the commode or urine bottle, I can assist client to use them. Catheter care. Most importantly, prioritise my day so I can spend more time with the client chatting to them about their life, past history, about the family. What they like doing as a hobby etc. I always tell my client and family when I take care of a client, I always tell them that it's not about how I want thi gs done!! It's about my client and how they want things doing. About me, I love meeting people from all walks of life. Listen to their stories. I love animals and bird watching. Nature out there is so beautiful. I enyou socialising with my family. I have a large family and get together to Celebrate birthdays or any other occasion. I'm a bit of a television addict as I enjoy watching all the soaps, any animal programs. Love listening to radio 4 (The Archers) when I can. I have a fab sense of humour. I really enjoy going out for coffee and people watching. Love walking my dog. He really is a cutie pie. I'm sure he is half human. 😂😂 Watching chick flicks is my thing or and black and white films. You can't beat watching an Golden Oldie. I have worked in various hospitals, Russell's Hall Hospital - Dudly, Alexander Hospital Redditch, Coventry Hospital, Ripley Hospital, Ilkeston Hospital, Warwick Hospital which I thoroughly enjoyed every shift. I have work in Dialysis for 4yrs which was so interesting. At first I was very nervous but over came my fear after a few weeks. It's such an honour to help people who require help. I have been told many times from client families to clients themselves how I go above and beyond to look after and take care of the clients. I always tell them that the secret is, I look after my clients as I look after my parents and that way you can not go wrong!! Thank you kindly for taking time to read my profile. {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":"0","field_care_type_first":null,"field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":"0","field_care_type_second":null,"field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":"0","field_care_type_third":null,"field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":"0","field_care_type_fourth":null,"field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":"0","field_care_type_fifth":null,"field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":"0","field_care_type_sixth":null,"field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":"0","field_care_type_seven":null}

DE12 7GZ 271215 Hello! I was born in Malawi, Central Africa, lived in Zambia, Central Africa, schooled in Zambia and South Africa, and worked and lived in England since I was 19. After years of travelling back and forth to England from South Africa, I settled in the UK in 2014, taking up live in care work mainly in Gloucestershire. I’ve had the privilege of caring for wonderful clients, which has charged me with the ability to be compassionate, empathetic and professional. I have 10 years experience as a carer and I enjoy listening to stories from the elderly people, encouraging them to continue living as independently as they can, while living in their own homes, and happy to work at their own pace. I have experience in personal grooming and I enjoy helping clients look their best. I can assist with hygiene, toileting, eating, cooking, cleaning and any administrative tasks which need support. I have a full clean driving license and enjoy taking clients out to meet friends or just to go for a drive. I have worked with people with dementia, chronic conditions and I have provided end of life care. I provided care for stroke rehabilitation including encouraging client to mobilise as much as possible. I also have experience working with clients suffering from depression and anxiety. I have recently cared for a blind lady for the past 7 years. What a challenge and what a rewarding role it was. I enjoy the little things in life, whether it’s a coffee and cake outing with the client or a gentle amble around a lake, as well as taking in a good movie. Please feel free to contact me should you want a chat and I’ll be happy to tell you all about me. 1 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":"1","field_care_type_first":"3","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":"1","field_care_type_second":"3","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":"1","field_care_type_third":"3","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":"1","field_care_type_fourth":"3","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":"1","field_care_type_fifth":"3","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":"1","field_care_type_sixth":"3","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":"1","field_care_type_seven":"3"}

In my country I was a massage therapist and I was providing teaching as well and recommended myself as a trustworthy person to who everybody would come for advice and help. When I came to the United Kingdom because of the war I was searching for a job where I can feel myself right. I became a carer and this is when I understood that every moment of communication with my clients , proving them the best possible quality of life is my responsibility and pleasure.
