I have practical experience in a variety of disciplines from social work to nursing assistant. In my roles I have been involved in assisting patients and service users including their families with various skills from catheter care, mental health, nutrition and fluid and including personal care and liaising with other professionals in the client's care needs. I am very flexible and outgoing can easily adjust to situations and has varied interests but I have the drive to achieve and support my clients with respect and empower the service users. My greatest asset at work is my ability to adapt easily and suit any given situation while maintaining standards and putting interests of the user first. My DBS can be viewed online on the update service. I have the following experience and skills in catheter care, stoma care and personal care. I have worked in community work settings, social work environments and the NHS and have gained a variety of skills. For live-in care I can travel nationwide and can accompany clients on short stay holidays or treatment with other professional bodies. I also expect overtime during weekends and double pay during bank holidays but that can be discussed with family depending on the needs of the client. I also can discuss travelling expenses where needed. It can all depend on distance and agreement with service users. I am also very flexible and can adjust depending on client needs but ideally I prefer live in of six weeks and a break of one to two weeks at a time. I still can adjust the work pattern to suit individual client where needed. Every year I update my basic training of moving and handling, first aid, and all the relevant required training for this role.
