Hello, I am Eamonn. I am from Ireland with 12 years experience in the care industry. I got into this work because I love working and spending time with people and making a real positive difference in their lives. I have experience working with people who have suffered severe brain injuries and a variety of conditions, and some of these clients I still work with. My main duties include companionship, assisting with personal care, and helping to get out and about in the community. I also have a passion for exercise and physiotherapy, and feel that it is so important for everyone to do some everyday. I currently bring one of my clients to the gym every week and assist with transfers to gym equipment and in and out of the swimming pool, I also record all of the exercise that is done so we can see the progress made over time. With one of my other clients - he is an older gentleman, who I help a few mornings a week, with getting up and ready for the day. I also assist him to go walking every day I work with him, this also enables his wife to have some respite, knowing that her husband is in safe hands. This is just a couple of examples. As I have a variety of experience and skills to help in many different ways to make life more enjoyable for my clients and their family’s.
