Throughout my undergraduate program, my interest in caring and my commitment became even stronger as I found that I also had an aptitude for the work. I believe my ability to communicate with people and to explain things clearly in both a technical and non-technical way is one of the things that makes me a good carer. I have always wanted to do something in my career that is challenging, interesting, and makes a difference in people's lives daily. As a carer, you deal with many aspects of patient care, and I enjoy the variety in the routine as an Art teacher at a Foundation for Children with special needs in Asaba Delta, a state in Nigeria, from 04/10/2019 to 30/12/2021 where I taught the children how to communicate using colours and art. I recently got certified as a Mental Health First Aider. this enables me act as a first point of contact for people with mental health issues, providing support and guidance to their colleagues. As well as being someone to talk to whenever they are struggling, Acting as an advocate for mental health in the workplace, helping to reduce stigmas and enact positive change. And believe that as a carer in this organisation will give me more opportunity to help patients and their families through what is often a difficult time for them but an extremely satisfying for me.
