I am a good listener and approachable, I enjoy working closely with other people especially with the elderly people as well as children. I have altogether an 8-year work experience in the care and education industry where I have developed a compassionate approach. I work hard to get to know my clients so I can help them enjoy their interest and hobbies. I became a carer while looking after my grandmother who suffered and died of dementia. After her death, I carried on supporting people with their end-of-life needs helping to make them comfortable at home as a live-in carer. I have worked with people with early dementia, children with autism spectrum disorder as well as people with learning disabilities in schools. I have worked to support people with physical disability helping them to gain mobility and stability. I work well with other palliative care team members, such as doctors, and nurses, I have supported patient lifting with hoist. I support family members with respite care. I am experienced in personal grooming and enjoy helping my clients look their best. I can assist with hygiene, toileting, eating, cooking, cleaning, and any administrative tasks which need support. I have a full clean driving license and enjoy taking clients out to meet friends. I have worked well in schools with children of special needs and have used compassionate approach to meet their needs. I am passionate about sport - both watching and playing. As a secondary school girl, I played football and won many competitions with my team. My work hour priorities are 8-hours dayshifts, long nights, and occasional leave-in basis. This enables me to relate with my children. I have had my first dose of the Covid jab and have continued to get a regular PCR Test. Do get in touch, I would love to hear from you.
