I have experience working with people with Autism, Learning Disabilities, Acquired brain injuries, Downs Syndrome, Epilepsy, Alzheimer’s , Dementia, Palliative Care, Sensory Impairments & Mental health conditions. I’ve worked in residential homes, supported living settings, day centres, hospices & predominantly community support work. This has strengthened & developed my skill base & knowledge. I have very strong person centred values & take great pride in my work. I have good listening skills and am an empathic carer. My training is kept up to date via Qintil & FuturU healthcare training. Curamcare registers all its carers with NACAS (National Association of Carers & Support) which offers access to various training sites including the NHS learning portal. I am also registered on the VPCR (Voluntary Professional Care Register). I love animals, bring amongst nature , walking & meeting people from different walks of life & being creative. Music is a big happy part of my life as is reading & watching good movies, and of course family & friends. Cooking is another enjoyable past time for me & I have fun with trying different dishes from around the world. I have good time management & can be flexible with hours. I’m very happy to assist with dog walking for clients and cat care. My rates are variable: £18 per hour for companionship, meal assistance & med prompts. £21 per hour for personal care, administration of medication & light housework. Plus trips out, attending appointments, shopping, meal assistance & admin. Rates do not include any parking charges if the client lives in a residential parking zone. This will need to be discussed in interview. Please contact me if you have any questions or if you feel I can be of assistance. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. Best wishes Ntiana

Excellent

Ntiana is an excellent care professional, always on time and with a smile. She keeps me and my brother informed about any possible issues that she notices with our mum. Ntiana is very helpful making the bed and helping with heating mum’s dinner, making cups of tea, and any thing else that might need doing around the flat. Our mum really looks forward to Ntiana’s visit. She does enjoy her chats with her. I would recommend Ntiana as your Care Professional of the month.

Excellent

I can't recommend Ntiana Baker highly enough. She came and sat with my 92 year old dad with some dementia for several visits before sadly he passed. He loved her visits as she would spend the time sitting and talking with him and going over old times. He really loved her visits and nothing was too much trouble. She was kind and caring and I highly recommend her. Janet

Excellent

Ntiana has cared for my parents for 15 months. They both had physical needs as well as dementia. She was always courteous and kind and full of good ideas. She made my mother laugh which was a great tonic. She was happy to turn her hand to anything. I would highly recommend her.

Excellent

Ntiana is a wonderful and very empathetic person who helped my elderly mother through a deeper stage of her depression. Ntiana was very professional and very clear with her communications, which was important with my mother’s situation. She was flexible and understanding as well as having lots of insight and ideas which helped us both. I would not hesitate to recommend Ntiana’s services.

Excellent

Ntiana’s communication is fantastic, she regularly sends messages so I know what is happening with my parents. She shows such kindness and goes out of her way to help out even when she is not scheduled to do so. We appreciate all her hard work and have no hesitation in recommending Ntiana.

Excellent

Ntiana has been supporting my Father-in-Law for nine months and we are very pleased with the care he receives. Ntiana is totally reliable, communicates regularly with us, enabling us to work as a team and conducts her visits with professionalism, patience and compassion. We couldn’t manage without Ntiana and we are reassured that my Father-in-Law is in excellent hands and know that he too enjoys his daily visits.
