I have experience in l...More Since 2002 I worked in Nursing Homes, Hospitals and community. Mainly working with people who have complex care needs, also worked with Palliative care. I am a hardworking professional care assistant with a genuine interest and enthusiasm for helping and looking after people. I have experience in looking after children. In 2011, I obtained Diploma NVQ 3 in health and Social care which I finished in 2014. During my Diploma I successfully combined my studies ,work and family commitments showing myself to be self motivated, organised and capable of working under pressure. I have a clear, logic mind with a practical approach to problem solving and a drive to see thing through to completion. I enjoy working on my own initiative or in a team. In short I am reliable, trustworthy, and hardworking and eager to learn. EDUCATION September 2018- Hons Degree in Healthcare Management (in progress) July 2011-Sept 2014: obtained Diploma NVQ in Health and social Care WORK SKILLS/ PERSONAL SKILLS Organised skills and team leading Service Management- understanding how healthcare is provided combined with other skills. Communication skills- dealing with internal and external organisations. Observation skills Time management skills Record keeping Cooking skills Working on my own initiative Administering Medication through peg button, cleaning tracheostomy care cannula brush with hot water to sterilized, emptying catheters bags, emptying of Stoma bags. Administering oxygen when the service users needs it. Assist in health and safety assessments follow health and safety procedures. working closely with nurses, doctors and physiotherapy. report any maintenance and repairs task in the house, to the Manager and service Users family. Provide First Aid services at the house/service when necessary and if trained to do so. Assist in writing, receiving and updating of individual care plans in conjunction with the manager/nurses. HOBBIES I love Travelling, going to the Gym, also cooking, reading and sports.
