For the past five years, I have enjoyed working as a Carer in the UK. I find it very rewarding to help and encourage people to do as much as they can in daily living. I especially like working in clients' homes, which enables them to remain there and feel safe. My Care experience in the UK has been in both Residential Care/ Nursing Homes and Domiciliary Care. I help to assist and aid clients/patients with daily living tasks such as washing, dressing, mobility, eating, social activities, and supporting them as required. I have a lot of experience with supporting people who have dementia and the challenges they and I face from this illness in delivering the care required. I have nursed people who have diabetes. I also have experience in palliative care and working with people who have special needs. My most recent placement was supporting a person who had Downs Syndrome. I am able to work cohesively in a team but also have delivered care on a one to one basis privately in clients' homes. I have compassion and empathy have a happy desposition. I am committed and dedicated and work hard. I love learning, and the job presents different challenges where we are learning all the time from our clients, co-workers, and others who may be involved in delivering the Care required. My hobbies include cooking, reading ,dancing, cleaning, gardening , going for long walks , gym and swimming. I can also speak Urdu.
