With a caring nature and passion to help people. I have been dealing with dementia cases and Alzheimer's. I love to work with the elderly who need someone to help them. I started off my journey of care in 2002, after my dad passed away while I was in Africa and never knew what dementia was in 2000 before he met his death. I came to this country to find my roots. My grand dad was a British citizen and a Doctor from a little town know as Long hope in Gloucestershire. When I got here I went into living care and since then my career has never stopped because I enjoy meeting all sorts of different people and with different challenges. When doing live in positions I prefer to have my 2 hour break each day. I have underlined issues and I tested for Covid-19 on the 12th April 2020 when I had my test done. I treated myself from home and since then I have been very careful how I handle my day to day duties and that includes any thing I buy from the shops. Because of the underlined problem I have, I chose not to take any vacations, just in case I get other complications after having them. I do test myself every week and I am free from the virus. I still have my antibodies protecting me while I keep out of big crowds by keep safe at home. I like taking care of people and making sure that I leave a smile on their faces after doing their duties for them and leaving them comfortable. I have been a carer for almost 15 years and I love my career and meeting the challenges in life in my job. I have cared for people with catheters, stoma bags, and dementia. I don't like working in environmental areas around my clients where there are pet. I like giving full attention to my clients rather then taking care of pets. My hobbies are traveling, cooking, music, movies.
