Many years were spent in the tech industry, but that career did not give me any personal satisfaction. While living abroad 20 years ago, I was struck by a car whilst walking on the pavement. As a result, I spent months in hospital and in recovery for the better part of a year. I became a carer two years ago, and I draw upon this experience and channel my empathy to all the men I look after. In the years I've been a carer, my personal approach to care-giving has yielded significant results. To give one example: the connection and trust I built with one 93-year old gentleman led him to stop sleeping on the living room sofa and start sleeping in his hospital bed in his bedroom for the first time in years. He'd been very resistant, but now sees the benefits: he cited having a good night's sleep and less back pain. Preparing fresh food for him also made a big difference, and he is now eating at least one full meal a day. In so many small ways, I know I am making a difference - from ensuring their hearing aids or internet connection are working to connecting with their friends or medical assistants, my approach can best be summed up as personal, tailored, and empathetic. I principally serve SW15, but please call me if you are slightly outside that area and I believe that I can help you.

Bill is extremely attentive, caring and a perfect cater. He engages really well with my father, he has patience and shows interest in listening to my father. He is flexible and will go above and beyond. He loves to cook and makes nutritionally good food for my father.

William has been visiting my elderly father (with early stage dementia) for several months. His role is mainly to provide company, which he has done with kindness & care: the two have enjoyed chatting; play Scrabble competitively; devoured William's homemade treats; he even persuaded my father to be taken on a gentle walk to get much needed fresh air & a change of scenery. William is pro-active in seeking ways to help and would be willing & able to do more if so required. I happily recommend him
