I find joy in seeing that my work has made life easier for my clients within my social work role. I am currently supporting families to safeguard vulnerable children, however l am quite passionate about adult safeguarding and would like to specialise in adult social work in the future hence this experience will enable me to gain insight into the issues that affect our elderly community and will enhance my understanding and skills when interacting with them. One of my favourite quotes from Robin Sharma (and words to live by) are " let the beauty you love be what you do". This has motivated me to always remember that when l put passion in my work, it also shows through the positive results. I also believe that passion, accuracy, respect and inclusion together with resilience has the ability to safeguard the clients l work with. I am looking for clients that are more mobile and do not require hoisting.
