I have worked as a live in carer, care homes and supported living with children and adults with learning disabilities and challenging behavious. I am passionate about working with vulnerable people. My passion comes from helping my mum care for my grandmother when i was young. I looked afer her my grandmother who was diagnosed with dementia. I assisted her with various things such as personal care and cooking. It did not end there as in school i was looking after this boy who had physical disability helping him to go out of the class , go to the shops buy something to eat on break time. I decided to go to college to increase my knowledge about care in a professional manner. I did health and social care level 3 then i pursued with my education and I completed a degree in Health and Social Care which is equivalent to level 6 management. In addition I worked in different care settings with different age groups from children to elderly who had different conditions such as mental issues ,physical disabilities, challenging behaviours and many more. I am flexible with my working days and hours only Sunday I can spare for church. I am a very good team player as well as lone worker, who can make a quick decision if required. I would like to continue studying and helping others whist gaining more knowledge to look after vulnerable people with high standards of care. Dont hesitate to contact me if I am the right candidate you are looking for, l'm here to help. I am currently looking for longer day shifts of 8/12 hours. When doing live in work I prefer to have my 2 hour break each day. My rates are negotiable depending on the needs of the client, this will be discussed during the meet and greet.
