I have retrained as a professional carer specialising in the care of adults with dementia and other complex conditions. I have particular expertise in end of life care. I'm a resourceful and compassionate carer who tries at all times to empower a client to live on their own terms supporting them to make the most of each day. I am patient and comfortable around severe late stage dementia and end of life care. I am companionable and try to ensure that I am able to engage those I work with in the activities they prefer. I'm in good health, fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and have a good sense of humour. My client families have described me as: " Stephanie is thoughtful, kind, and resourceful, and was constantly considering ways to improve my father's quality of life". "Stephanie is an exceptional lady. Nothing is too much trouble. She is always bright and caring, gentle and calm. I also enjoy chalk painting, quilting, knitting and sewing as well as reading, theatre and films.
