I maintain professional practice, and I ensure that I support service users in manners they feel valued, listened to, and treated as a particular individual. This encourages the service users to establish positive relationship with me where they can trust me and express their feeling about the services they receive as well as their concerns. I am committed to working in partnership with other professionals, organizations and agencies to provide practical and realistic person centred service which is based on multi-disciplinary assessment of the individuals need to provide service that help them settle in their placements and I will ensure that I inform them of the network of support available to them. I will support service users to achieve their full potential by ensuring that services they receive address the cultural/ethical needs of service users. I appreciate the importance of maintaining contact with families and friends and I will support service users to maintain contact with their families unless where there is legal orders restricting their contacts or where the service users decide not to have contact with their families.
