I became a carer because my grandmother had early onset Alzheimer’s and I learnt so much through watching and helping my mother as her primary carer, especially what an important role a carer is to someone. Caring has always come very naturally to me and I believe it’s so important to be able to help one another in this life wherever we can. I am from Zimbabwe but have been working in care for seven years in the UK though an agency and the majority of the time privately in London however now I am living in Penrith and I look forward to working around Cumbria. I love getting to know people and helping however I can.
