Since coming to the UK from my home country in 2000, I have enjoyed working in Health care in both permanent and Agency positions. I have a strong belief in doing a job well and I take great pride in producing quality results in everything I do I work with confidence in helping to care and supporting others in meeting their needs and always ensure dignity and respect, particularly in personal and sensitive situations. I am stimulated by my work and aim to continually improve my learning to update and maintain my professional skills and knowledge. I have an empathetic and understanding nature with over 21 years spent in the care field supporting both vulnerable and elderly individuals. I am sociable with a friendly , patient, organized and adaptable approach, and openly enjoy interacting with people at all levels and within team environments. I have worked in a Residential home, nursing home, EMI unit, psychiatric unit, hospice, Dean neurology, one to one nursing and residential homes, including 24 hour care in their own home. I am looking for a live-in care position for 2 weeks on, one week off rota, but at the same time I am flexible. I can travel up to 2 hours from Gloucester. I am not a driver. I am unable to look after pets due to allergies. I am trained in dealing with stoma bags. I am not trained in peg feed but would be willing to do this if given appropriate training. I am able to cook and am able to accomodate most dietary needs.
