I have more than 14 years experience working in the care industry and have a compassionate approach. I listen to my clients to get to know them so I can help them enjoy their life independently and support their interests and hobbies.  I am a very patient person and am always happy to work at my clients pace, following their lead.  I have worked with people with dementia, chronic conditions , cerebral palsy, strokes, cancer, spinal injury, MS, Parkinson and I have provided end of life care. Recently, I provided care for people dealing with spinal injury. I also have experience of anxiety and depression care. I am experienced in personal grooming and I enjoy helping clients look their best. I can assist with hygiene, toileting, eating, cooking, cleaning and any administrative tasks which need support. I have a full clean driving license and enjoy taking clients out to meet friends, go to their meeting or travelling. Before becoming a carer, I worked as a PA and project manager for a gap year organisation. I have also worked in the film industry in LA and London. I worked as a nanny when I first arrived in the UK and helped kids with French lessons. I have worked for an American bank in Luxembourg. I also have worked for a magazine in Dubai. I have suffered and was victim of a road accident as a teenager and spent months in hospitable. I became a carer to honour my words while I was in Hospital as a teenager. I found out I was a natural. I have also looked after my mother who suffered from dementia, was diabetic and suffered from kidneys failure. When she died, I decided to carry on, working as a live-in carer to support people and fulfil their needs with dignity. I love reading, especially history, politics, fictions, romance and crime fiction novels. I love music, theatres and Art. I love cats and dogs. I got a kitten last month. Her name is Mamoucha. She jumps up and down and is very affectionate. I love spending time with her. She makes me smile. Get in touch, I’d love to hear from you.
