I have been in care settings for 13 years and 3 years of experience as a Qualified Nurse working in community and care homes, as well as visiting patients in their own homes. I’m a good listener, kind and compassionate person . I have experience in working with patients with Parkinson disease, Dementia, palliative, and end of life. I am a good communicator both verbally and writing. I have skills in doing wound care, insulin subcutaneous, and intermuscular injections. Competency in Rocket drain (chest drain) competent in CVAD PICC line flush and disconnecting of Chemo lines and administer medication and flush after disconnecting chemo at home or care homes. Competency in administration of medication and palliative care, syringe drivers Stat doses ,catheters wound care compression bandages, and two layer bandages. Initial assessment Doppler assessment, pressure area management, nutrition's, continence assessment which is linked to other multi disciplinary teams. Personal care and feeding patients as well as general nursing care needs. Checking of blood glucose levels ,B12 injections, and routine health check. Administer of Enemas, suppositories bowel management. Competent in Verification of Death and able to complete verification template. Care of Peg feed and setting up peg feed. Care of stoma and changing the stoma bags. Manual evacuation bowel. Use of different inhalers able to use masks oxygen and nasal cannula oxygen. Competent in weighing patients standing and laying. Able to complete care plans and documentation of notes. Competent in obtaining observations, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, and saturation using provided equipment’s. Competent in Use of Electronic Mars sheet and paper Mar sheet. I love reading, travelling, cooking, watching movies, and socialising with friends.
