I have the right to work in the UK, a DBS online and I am committed to promoting the welfare and safety of vulnerable people. I always respect confidentiality and policies. I have experience working with vulnerable young and old people by supporting and encouraging them to live a more happy and independent life. For example, supporting them in all their daily activities, such as, going shopping/cinema/to eat/swimming, cooking, cleaning, laundry, having a bath/shower, dressing, change pad and feeding or eating their meals. I’m experienced in using wheelchair, hoist, hospital bed, sliding sheet and Peg feeding. My strongest areas are in manual handling and individual personal centred care. I am aware of (GDPR) General Data Protection Regulation and disclosures to the Designated Safeguarding Officer. I am also a keen learner, and I am open to learning new things. I contribute well as part of a team and able to use my initiative accordingly when working alone. I have a calm and friendly personality with good listening skills. I have a non-judgmental approach. I am committed to providing professional services and going the extra mile. When necessary, I work overtime for urgent tasks to be completed and can work flexibly and respond to changing circumstances without being flustered. I organise my day by keeping a diary and a list, completing urgent tasks first. I recognise that inclusion is everyone’s responsibility and adhere to equality. I am committed to working within an inclusive environment and treating people with respect, valuing each individual, and avoiding negative discrimination. I am organised with time keeping.
