I have a proven ability to meet the personal needs of service users in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes their independence. Using initiative to develop effective solutions to problems with a caring and honest approach to work and getting things done efficiently & unsupervised. Over the last 8 years I have worked within the police service dealing with patients who need specific care needs, showing care and compassion towards patients and family members who are clearly struggling to come terms with their loved one's condition and deal with the emotional conflicts that this can cause. I am always wanting to develop my skills further and I am currently looking for a suitable carer position with a client.
