I have a good understanding, respecting the confidentiality, dignity and privacy of my clients at all times. I have a proven record of working independently as well as in a team with other Health Care professionals in pressurised environments demonstrates in my ability to adapt to most situations. I have comprehensive understanding of dementia and health care which combined with my commitment. I have experience of providing assistance or prompting clients for meal preparation, cooking, eating and drinking. Happy to promote independence, friendship, engagement in activities and socialisation with community luncheon clubs etc. I am looking for live in jobs where I can work on a rotation of with 2/3 weeks and 1 week off, I am also experienced in post operative care and end of life care. On my week off I can also deliver sleeping nights 3/4 nights. I have experience of working with electric hoists, standing aids and sliding sheets, on arrival with a new client I will evaluate whether it can be completed by a single or double carers. When delivering live in care I prefer to have my 2 hour break where I can re charge. I have worked with clients where I work alongside other members of the care profession for example doctors, district nurses, OT and the clients family members.
