I have been a carer all my life, my younger brother (33yrs old) has SLD and ASD. However professionally I have cared for 5 years. I would say my specialist skill is that I actually listen and put into practice what I'm told. I use my intuition where needed and I try my upmost to make sure my clients and their caregivers are happy with their overall experience of my care.
