I enjoy working with the elderly, infirm and in other vulnerable categories such as mental health, those with learning disabilities and autism, and I also have experience working with Children with young epilepsy. My most recent experience is working with unaccompanied young people which I am enjoying using all my experience to benefit the individuals as well as the government. As I am also fluent in Arabic, proficient in French and I have been using this skill to interpret between the Young People and the Home office representatives and other colleagues. Most recent employment: October 2023 – February 2024 Adult Disability Service- States of Guernsey- Community Support worker • Supported adults with learning difficulties in the community and within the accommodation service • Helped the team find out why an individual presents challenging behaviour • Worked with the staff team to develop positive behavioural support strategies • Supported service users with their day to day needs and helped them thrive in their own homes, by helping them cook, welcoming relations and friends and taking them on day trips July 2023 – October 2023 Healthcare Assistant • Administering blood pressure and medication to patients in their homes • Ensuring that care plans are followed and adhered to • Assisting nurse with physiotherapy.
