I have been working in Health and Social Care settings for over 25 years. I put a lot of effort into getting to know my clients so I can support them effectively. Previously I have worked as a home carer and support worker for people with learning disabilities before becoming a live in carer. Currently I work with clients who have Dementia, ongoing conditions and palliative care. I have also supported clients who have had stroke and brain injury in a rehabilitation hospital. I enjoy working closely with Doctors, Nurses, Therapists and families. This has enhanced my personal growth. I now have experience assisting clients to wash and dress, toileting, feeding and a lot more. I also like giving clients short rides when they wish to meet with friends or go for a meal. I have NVQ Level 2 certificate, an active mandatory training certificate and a full driving license. My hobbies include cooking, music and reading.
