I've been taken care of a couple for the past eighteen months. I've been doing live in care work for almost 8 years in the UK. I’ve worked with a client who had MS and was wheelchair bound and Multiple Myeloma. I started working for Care Home in March 2024 as a health care assistant for 18 residents all with Dementia, moving and handling, physical disability needs, excercises, wheelchair assistance, incontinence and continent clients Since June 2022 I’ve been working for The Nursing Partnership in Edinburgh as a health care assistant and have been placed in a Care home with them. I’ve got my qualifications for moving and handling. I've completed my NVQ level 2 Certificate and have also just completed my Health and Social Care Diploma. I've also completed a Reflexology Diploma. I've completed my Care Certificate. I've got an up to date DBS which I pay for on a yearly basis. I love cooking all fresh and healthy meals, baking etc. I enjoy dogs more than cats even although they give me hay fever first few Days. I do embroidery, knitting, card making, reading, love cooking and baking. I've had my own 5 star Bed and Breakfast in Somerset West, Cape Town, I started my business in August 2010 and closed my business and sold my house in November 2014. I love working with people and take great pride in my job to make clients feels at home and not invade their space.
