With over 10 years of experience in the health care profession, I have worked with a wide range of clients/service users with varying needs. From individuals with mild cognitive impairment, Alzheimer’s/ Dementia to those who are bedbound and on end of life, I have gained valuable skills in providing personalized care and support through all this experience. I have worked with clients who suffer from conditions such as Parkinson's Disease, anxiety, and depression. I understand the challenges that these conditions can present and strive to create a warm and compassionate environment where my clients feel comfortable and supported. My skills include bathing, toileting, assistance with dressing, catheter care, and companionship. I believe that maintaining dignity and promoting independence are key aspects of providing quality care. When I am not working, I enjoy cooking and travelling, solving puzzles, and socializing with others. I find great joy in reading and outdoor activities e.g. swimming, tennis etc. I have a love for animals and am comfortable caring for pets including cats, dogs, fish, rabbits, and birds. I am a caring, friendly, and helpful individual who genuinely enjoys making a positive impact on the lives of others. My motivation for being a carer stems from my desire to make a difference and empower individuals to have control over their lives. I take pride in providing care that not only meets physical needs but also promotes emotional well-being. With my ability to drive and my own car, I can provide reliable and flexible care to clients. I am excited to continue my journey as a carer and look forward to the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of those I work with. NB: Double pay applies to all bank Holiday services offered.
