My passion for helping others is deeply rooted in both my personal and professional life. I have cared for my father-in-law after his stroke, supporting his recovery with physiotherapy and treatment plans. I also nurtured my son through his battle with keratitis, which required corneal transplants, further strengthening my ability to provide emotional and physical support.
In addition to my nursing career in Africa, I have worked in various care settings, assisting vulnerable clients and patients. The COVID-19 pandemic reinforced my commitment to this work, highlighting the urgent need for skilled, caring individuals to support those receiving treatment and care.
Beyond my professional life, I am a mother of three successful adult children and the eldest sister in my family. I have a strong sense of community, often supporting loved ones with conditions like diabetes by raising awareness and offering practical help. My excellent communication skills allow me to connect with people from diverse backgrounds, understanding their needs and offering both companionship and care.
I am actively involved in my parish, visiting the elderly, preparing food for the homeless before the pandemic, and participating in community activities. Gardening at the allotment and attending church are my hobbies, but my greatest joy comes from making someone smile and helping them feel better.
