My name is Amalia (Amy) I am 49 age old. My nationality is Romanian. I am here to offer my services for elderly people in need. Having 4 years of experience in healthcare, my passion for doing care is most important thing for me.According priorities to offer to my clients the best quality of life,doing a special personal care enhanced with body massage, paing a very important attention to the skin and wellbeing. I am very flexible, understanding to the client needs,finding the right way to have the best results in the client needs.I achieved my knowledge being thankful to great people such as blessing clients and wonderful teams who are interested in me to gain goals after goals to build with confidence and kindness a beautiful career to care for all in needs. During my journey in this career, I learned how to deal with different health issues, how to use hoists, wheelchairs, manual handling to do care for people using catheters for incontinence, colostomy bags, supporting with bath and showers, bathing giving to the clients possibility to choose their preference in order to enjoy life and helping to gain confidence, giving a lot of compassion and dedication. I love to listen about my clients favourite meals and to prepare most savoury food. I enjoy listening to music with my clients sharing photo albums, pleasant discussions, being always part of the environment and being part of the client's daily life. I worked through agencies as self-employed dealing with people with light dementia, elderly problems in general but even with serious mobility problems and spinal cord injuries. I do as usual grooming, light house work, laundry, I love pets and I am happy to deal with family and medical staff to keep in order all situation. I love to be very organised. Very active and professional having by nature the sense to care for people. I am waiting to meet with clients to offer my help. I AM HAPPY TO TRAVEL UP TO 100 MILES FROM LONDON . Now I want to mention that it is so shame that I don't have drive licence to be able to support my potential client to take him out or to do easier shopping together. Regarding the time of work I usually get a month in and 2 weeks off.I would be happy to have an permanent client and another carer to hand over 2 weeks on 2 weeks off or 3 weeks on 3 weeks off,depending of the client needs to get in charge like this.
