I have worked with stroke sufferers, dementia sufferers, people who need catheter care & help with personal hygiene & cooking. I have a great deal of life/work experience outside of the care industry and I am a youthful spirited 59 years old. I have had 2.5 years experience working for an agency, dealing with a varied adult client base. I have a Higher Ed Cert in H & SC & hold the NHS Care Certificate. I am interested in reading, cooking, music, exercise etc & am open to other areas of interest. I previously worked as a Learning Support Assistant in a primary school, assisting a statemented child, with 'Volunteer Reading Help', a charity aiming to improve the reading standards of children & I actively helped out in my daughter's school. I have two cats & get on well with animals.
