I have been caring for the last 10 years. I used to be a Personal Assistant for Directors in the Rail Industry. I took a break in my career when I had my children and when they were old enough to go to a play school I stumbled on caring and I have been doing that ever since. I find caring for elderly people very rewarding and enjoy listening to my clients. It is nice to engage with my clients and to find out what they used to love doing, or what career they had. I like reading and I walk a lot. I am originally from South Africa but I have been living in the UK for the last 20 years. Rates are negotiable and will be based on care required, distance of client as well as weekend and Bank Holidays.

We required support with Mum when she left hospital in August 2023 and Thea became my Mum's main carer from that time supporting through to February 2024, when unfortunately Mum was admitted to a care home. Thea is a lovely, kind and gentle lady who engaged well with Mum, providing caring support with dressing, washing, eating and companionship. She was reliable and flagged any concerns with us. I have no hesitation in recommending Thea to anyone looking for caring support.
