It's wonderful seeing a smile on people's faces when doing even the simplest of tasks. Of course, personal care and personal tasks comes part on part with the job which your privacy and confidentiality are paramount. I am a determined, soulful person who will make sure that any given task is done properly and thoroughly. I believe that I'm like an extention of you. It is important as a carer to see and understand things from the client's perspective and makes light of situations that can go wrong.. (well it's life and things aren't perfect). My approach to care forms long lasting relationships; especially connecting to people on a 1:1 basis and living life at an easy pace. It's important for me to know your routine (if you have one) and interests. If you need a waking night carer to aid you through the night such as toileting, bed making, pressure care, assistance with medications, food and drink, provide anxiety relief and other household tasks. Experience: Clients ranged from young, physically disabled people and most recently people over 75 years of age. Conditions I specialise in are: Parkinsons Disease, Cerebral Palsy, Ehlers Danlos, End of life, Multiple Schlerosis.
