I have worked in the Healthcare industry for over 21 years and I love working in Care. Over the years I have worked with many trusts and agencies, I have learnt a lot and gained experience in various fields. Over the years I have worked with many trusts and agencies, I have learnt a lot and gained experience in various fields. I have experience in providing care for the elderly covering Care homes, Nursing homes, Hospice and general hospital wards. I particularly enjoy working as a live in Carer working with clients in their own house. I have spent time working with people with psychiatric and mental health and learning difficulties which I found very interesting. I have worked with people who are 18 years old and above who have needed support with general day to day life skills from getting dressed to shaving shopping helping with dealing with finance and gaining as much independence as they possibly can. I love playing the piano in Care homes and Nursing which often people with Dementia takes them back to their youth also seeing people involved from dancing to Crosswords can take their mind off a not so good day. I like gardening, love cooking, cleaning and helping with peoples shopping I try and keep active by doing to the gym when I’m not working. I love holidays especially Italy which is my favourite country in the world the food the culture and the people. I thrive on doing the best I can and helping people which I’m passionate about. I have worked with Parkinson disease and have learnt about the fluctuation from day to day from goods days and bad days with physical health. I’m competent in full personal care and medication trained. I’m happy to cover day shifts sleeps in if your need me. I have also worked in Brain Injury from complex care needs to Spinal injuries. I’m experienced knowledgeable and competent in being a Healthcare Professional. I would relocate from Exeter throughout the UK to offer personalised live-in home care. My preferred rotation is 2-3 weeks at a time. I am happy to negotiate rates and expenses charged after a consultation to discuss your needs. Thank you for your time.
