I have 20 years experience in the Care industry. I have worked in residential and Community Care setting and have lots of experience. I'm a kind and caring person compassionate, a good listener and have lots of empathy in my work, i love to build up a relationship with the people i work with so i can get to know their interests and hobbies so they feel comfortable and at ease with me. I love cooking and to make sure that my clients have a nutrition meal, willing to do light housework hovering, ironing and making sure all areas are clean and safe where I'm working with clients. I have worked with people that are in the early stages of dementia through to advance. In my role as a carer I've had the experience of palliative care to end of life, which includes all aspects of personal care skin care and also companion work. Jan has been a pleasure to work with! Always on time, reliable, very kind & super patient. Jan put my mum who has dementia at ease really quickly & my brother who has a learning disability said he liked Jan “a lot”. Jan has a great sense of humour & a really gentle demeanour which made having her in our home really easy & comfortable for everyone. I highly recommend Jan if you are looking for someone who is highly communicative, proactive & cares deeply about her clients.

Jan cared for my Mum for her final 18 months with dedication and expertise, improving the quality of Mum’s life to the best it could be. She is a very experienced and professional carer with a genuine, conscientious concern for her clients. Jan recommended many changes that made significant improvements for Mum and liaised with the NHS on Mum's behalf. She is positive, cheery and a real asset. I can thoroughly recommend Jan to anyone who needs to know that their loved one is in safe hands.

Hi all I need to tell you about my carer Jan. I suffer with a number of things that ain't good with me. Jan knows that I struggle to get out the house. She is amazing, I wouldn't of done things that I struggle with, without her. Jan you are amazing thanks ever so much

Jan fitted in really well in the early mornings getting my elderly mum up and ready and making breakfasts. Definitely recommend
