I was inspired to become a carer by my mother who is a registered nurse and my cousin who suffers from cerebral palsy. I have seen what an amazing job carers have done looking after my cousin over the years. Growing up as a young child I watched how my mother selflessly looked after the sick and put their needs before hers. Then, once we set achievable goals, I get to work to find services and activities that offer practical, social, and emotional support that’ll improve the client's health and wellbeing.
