The most important part as a carer is to listen and understand the needs of the person, as much as communicating with the family, also to respect the privacy, dignity and choices and treat every individuals differently by respecting their values. Its always my pleasure to see changes when I'm providing care to individuals as that gives me strength and hope that anything is possible. I always encourage the person I'm helping to live independently as much as they can by supporting them to achieve that. I happy to travel for live in jobs within 100 miles radius as long as traveling expenses are covered 1 way by my clients. For live in clients my rates may increase or decrease depending on the clients condition and what is required of me. I am happy to care for couples my live in rate would be increased by 20%. For day and night shifts I am looking for regular clients of 6/12 hour shifts, unfortunately I would be unable to deliver hourly visits at this time.
