Living within this setting allowed me to grow up with a genuine understanding of how to care for others and this sparked a passion for caring for people of all ages which has remained with me ever since. I have almost 20 years experience of providing care and I feel privileged to have been able to care for people of all ages. I have worked in care homes for the elderly and while my own children were younger I worked as a PA looking after children with disabilities on their transport to and from school. While I have loved both of these roles, I felt that I was not able to progress and provide the care service that I feel so passionate about. That is why I took the leap of faith 3 years ago to provide self employed care. Over the last 3 years I have been fortunate enough to be able to provide a range of care and companionship services to some wonderful people. I care for people in their own home and therefore, I am able to provide care and support that is tailored to the individual. This can be support with cooking, cleaning, shopping, outings etc as well as personal care. I pride myself on a friendly and professional support service which helps those I care for maintain their independence. I have experience in catheter care including weekly changing cleaning. I have experience in hosting,diabetes giving insoline. Also autism ADHD I enjoy cooking and baking so happy to make meals extra. I work Monday to Friday. my hourly rate covers expenses and mileage I also have business insurance on my car so happy to take clients out if needed. Also, for almost 12 years, I worked as a qualified quality assurance auditor and quality assurance manager. Last year, I decided that office work was not something I wanted to do or pursue in the future. I recently got trained to become a PA to work with and assist clients affected by spinal injuries. In my caregiving experience for nearly 5 years, I worked with clients with severe disabilities and life-threatening conditions, including multiple sclerosis (MS). My experience encompasses working with paralysed clients, focusing on enhancing their quality of life through tailored care plans and empathetic support. I also have over 3 years of experience as a live-in carer for elderly and paralysed clients. In my personal life I was caring for the dementia patient for a few years. I believe I can use my skills and experience to make an effective contribution to young, vulnerable, unwell, and elderly people’s lives to make a positive change and help them in everyday life. I also completed and gained my certificate for the course ‘The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism’. I am looking for additional caregiving job opportunities to fill in my free time from my main job (2 weeks on and 2 weeks off); to be more specific, I am looking for hourly and overnight jobs only within the West Norfolk area, ideally within a 20-mile radius of Kings Lynn. I love animals and cooking; therefore, I would happily help with a healthy meal prep or dog walking. I recently enrolled in and am studying a Personal Exercise, Health, and Nutrition course, which I do enjoy very much.
