W10 4QF 261064 Hello, I am a very caring person who loves helping others; as a mother, I always go above and beyond to make sure that everyone is well and safe. I love animals, I make a mean cup of tea! I'm punctual and I have a very positive can - do attitude in all that I do. I will always respect your wishes and will do as much or as little as you want me to do, I understand that it's not nice to have your independence taken off you. I am good with admin, so, I can open letters, arrange paperwork, type out emails for you, or do anything related to excel, word, outlook, and PowerPoint. I'm flexible, able, and willing. I have a full manual / automatic driving license and can drive mobility vehicles. I also own my own car. I don’t drink, don’t smoke; but, I have no problem with people who do. I have interests in art, music, plants and flowers, swimming, roller skating, going to the gym, animals and reading. 1 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":false,"field_care_type_first":"","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"4","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":false,"field_care_type_third":"","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"4","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":false,"field_care_type_fifth":"","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"4, 5","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":false,"field_care_type_seven":""}

NW2 4JG 133741 My name is Marsha N, and I have been dedicated to the healthcare sector for over 20 years. Throughout my career, I have worked in various settings, including care homes and clients' own residences, gaining extensive experience with individuals affected by conditions such as dementia, Parkinson's, COPD, and MS. My passion lies in supporting vulnerable clients and ensuring their care is centred around their needs. I take great joy in conversing with them, especially knowing that they may not have anyone else to talk to or spend time with. Listening to their stories from their younger days brings me a profound sense of fulfilment, knowing that I am there to offer a compassionate ear. I am committed to maintaining professionalism in all aspects of my role while fostering meaningful connections with those I care for. Additionally, I am up to date with all necessary training and am currently in the process of gaining my Level 5 in Leadership and Management. 1 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":false,"field_care_type_first":"","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":false,"field_care_type_second":"","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":false,"field_care_type_third":"","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":"1, 4, 5"}

I decided to become an independent carer as I wanted to provide more comprehensive help (30 minutes is simply not enough in a lot of the clients I was assigned to through the agency I was working for). I treat everyone like I expect to be treated myself. Any elderly person could be my Mother or Father. Every young person could be my child or my brother or sister. I provide excellent customer service, and I am very empathetic. I do not have to be asked to do a task. If something needs doing, I will do it happily especially cleaning. I have recently worked as Agency Staff looking after adults with severe Mental Health and young adults with severe learning /speech difficulties. I am a full time carer for my youngest son whom we nearly lost to type 1 diabetes back in April 2021. His diabetes was triggered following a bout of Gastroenteritis which appeared to be prolonged. I followed my gut instinct and requested a GP appointment but was telephoned by a nurse instead who dismissed my concerns. Ironically, he was blue lighted to hospital hours before seeing another GP following a complaint I raised. He was admitted straight into ICU suffering from severe Ketoacidosis and diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. I also cared for both my Father and more recently, my sister following several severe strokes which due to scarring on her brain tissue, she has led to her now been diagnosed with Vascular Dementia. Please be aware that I will NOT be able to provide care to individuals with severe learning difficulties where NO health and safety risks have been addressed in the property where care is to be cared out. This is due to health and safety i.e. no stair gates, no socket covers, where the individual has full access to rooms where products/utensils etc are a danger to both them and me. 1 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"4","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"4","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"4","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"4","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"4","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"4","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":"4"}
