Since then I gained experience working with people with dementia, stoma, catheter, MS (Peristeen Procedure), Parkinson's disease, CP, PSP, and spinal injury, with or without hoists or wheelchairs. I am an honest and dedicated person and never treat this work only as work. Usually, I try to build a very friendly relationship and follow your habits and style of life. I'm self-employed with all the necessary documents and references. The best schedule for me would be working up to 3 months in one go and to have later 2-3 weeks off but everything is to discuss. I would be very pleased to assist a person who would like to be active, enjoying outings, travels, sports, culture and other interesting events. But I also respect a need for quiet and silence.  N16 0JT 76416 I have a back ground working with (CBOs ) Community Based Organisations. In my line of work I have always met people with different needs in terms of their well being. Listening to those people made me wanting to help them more and most especially reassuring and creating confidence in them. I have worked on a project called EPP, expert patient programme and this, introduced me to people who had a variety of health issues/ long term conditions. The programme was to help them manage their conditions .This makes me a superb carer for many patients have passed through my hands. The most fascinating client I have worked with for 5 years who just passed on last month, had a very rare condition called FOP-A rare genetic connective tissue disorder. This client encouraged me to self teach myself about that condition which made me an outstanding carer and I was able to bring more life to him. I have done courses on Mental health and I am in position to care for someone suffering from anxiety, depression etc... I have worked with patients who had stroke and early dementia and I managed them very well. I am passionate about my work caring, kind and always bring joy and happiness when I am on duty. I am experienced and confident, I am trustworthy and I have good communication skills. I always have a listening ear to my clients/patients. I provide emotional support to my clients/patients and I am a self motivated worker as well as dedicated to my job. I also have hands on experience from in-house training on how to use NIV: Non Intensive Ventilation but no certificate. For Live out, I would prefer to work Monday to Friday. For live in position, I am only available for Friday to Monday 2 weekends in a month as I am currently working with a client the other 2 weekends. Also, I am happy to cover areas in about 30 to 40miles . For the position of live in, I would have 2 hours break so Family or Client have to arrange cover for that break time. Bank holidays are charged at double time. I have been in the care field for nearly 20 years. I have worked with a variety of individuals with differing needs. I have worked door-to-door in the community, offering personal support for tailored needs. I have worked as a 6 week enabler which I enjoyed very much. I have worked privately for respite short term live-in care for an individual whose wife had Parkinson's disease and advanced dementia. In the early part of my career as a carer I did waking/sleeping nights for a lovely lady for a year. Currently I work privately for two gentlemen who require support with their domestic cleaning. One is a hoarder and I supported and assisted him to declutter and organise his belongings. The other, i support him to keep on top of the cleaning, laundry and linen change on a weekly basis. I am a caring empathic individual who is a good active listener. I get great personal pleasure being able to support and assist individuals with their needs whilst encouraging independence and self actualisation. I am very sociable and can familiarise myself very quickly in a respectful way. I like to show initiative with the permission of an individual. I have two mottos: treat people how you would like to be treated yourself; leave the property how you found it, or better. I have a few personal hobbies. I love music and travelling; and like discussing current affairs. I am flexible and can adapt care where required. I am available for daily care; sleeping and waking night positions within a 5 mile radius of N19 (Islington, North London) I am happy to work alternate weekends with a carer buddy.
