It also takes compassion, empathy, dedication and a non-judgemental attitude. I have also found, with many clients, that it helps to be a good home cook! These are the most important attributes of caring. I can take things one at a time and can work towards goals no matter how long it takes I will still be patient and appreciative. I am a very understanding person having brought up my two boys single handedly, I understand children’s feeling and their behaviour, I am also very empathetic I can put people in my shoes. Although I do not have much exposure to pets, my experience of working with one client who had a dog, a friendly Cocker Spaniel made me to be open minded to the possibility of having a pet around me. I enjoy going to church when time and opportunity allows. My Christian values helps me to be a grounded, honest and to be a flexible person who is also open minded to the view that not everyone has to share same values with me and ability to respect that.
