KT19 9GF 131419 I have been working as a carer since 2003. First as a Home Carer and since 2015 as a Reablement Support Worker. Prior to that i was a registered Child Minder , i have also worked in a Nursery and a Play Centre. After using my skills in my own personal situation when my mother was diagnosed with a terminal illness, i decided that been a carer was the right path for me. I am very hard working, a good listener. I am also kind , caring and like to give people choice in their every day life style. For example someone might not want to have a shower every day then they could have a strip wash. I treat every one equal but individually by giving them the opportunity to participate in their care and to fulfil their potential. 0 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"1","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"1","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"1","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":false,"field_care_type_fourth":"","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":false,"field_care_type_fifth":"","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":false,"field_care_type_sixth":"","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":false,"field_care_type_seven":""}

KT6 7QL 8392 I am a dedicated and passionate individual with 25 years of experience providing quality care to people with diverse needs. I have a degree in Health and Social Care and have worked in a variety of healthcare settings, including nursing and residential care homes, domiciliary care, live-in care, palliative care, and NHS hospitals. When I worked in a care home, I had the opportunity to collaborate with people from different fields to give the residents with dementia the best care possible. These people included doctors, families, nurses, and therapists. We collaborated to create a personalized plan for each resident which included social, medical, emotional, and physical support. It was a rewarding experience to work with such a team and witness the positive impacts on the residents' well-being. I have applied this knowledge to my current position as a private living in caregiver, and I can be trusted to independently provide my clients with high-quality care and a secure and comfortable environment. For example, to support the well-being of dementia patients, I offer daily activities that challenge their physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities. This includes exercises or simple walks to improve their mobility, taking them to places of interest such as flower gardens, providing companionship, engaging them in mind games, puzzles, and music whenever possible. My experience in the care sector is broad. In addition to working with the elderly, I work with people suffering from cancer, stroke, cardiovascular, diabetes, Parkinson’s, peg feeding and people with disabilities, among others. I enjoy my job, and it is rewarding to help people maintain their dignity, well-being, and independence in their own homes. My responsibilities and duties include providing personal care, administering and prompting medications, monitoring vital signs, preparing meals, housekeeping, shopping, manual handling, and going to appointments and events with them, to mention a few, while ensuring their safety. When faced with a difficult situation, I always take a step back and evaluate it objectively. I try to be calm and professional, address any immediate concerns. Additionally, if I feel that I am unable to handle the situation on my own, I am always willing to ask for help and advice from the family members or the person in charge. In terms of approach, I am cooperative and open to help. When there are two caregivers living with a client and conflicts arise, I believe it is crucial to address them calmly and professionally. I would begin by attempting to resolve the issue or misunderstanding by speaking privately with my colleague who is involved. It is important to listen to their side of the story, share my thoughts, and hopefully agree on a solution that benefits both of us. If the conflict persists, I will notify the family member in charge, who can investigate further and advise on how to proceed. Finally, I work hard to ensure my clients are secure, comfortable, and safe free from abuse, neglect, or other harm. I have a clean UK driving license and own a car. I’m looking for full time live-in/out care, long days, or waking nights. 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":"0","field_care_type_first":"0","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":"0","field_care_type_second":"0","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":"0","field_care_type_third":"0","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":"0","field_care_type_fourth":"0","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":"0","field_care_type_fifth":"0","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":"0","field_care_type_sixth":"0","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":"0","field_care_type_seven":"0"}

After this period I can discuss with client/family members to determine the length of period of care I can deliver. I am happy to travel within a distance of 150 miles from my base in Walton-On-Thames, as long as my travelling expenses are covered one way by my future clients. Kt12 1Pe 40098 I’ve been working as a HCA since 2016. I hold my Diploma NVQ2 in Social Care. In addition, the training I require for the job is up to date due to receiving it frequently. I have much experience in providing personal care for elderly people with dementia and physical disabilities. Furthermore, I am more than capable in providing safe levels of care. I am confident and knowledgeable when it comes to operating all of the lifting equipment e.g. Full body hoist, Standing hoist, Ceiling Hoist, frame, wheelchair, and many others. I consider myself as a person who is consistently courteous. Every day without failure, I give to my clients the opportunity to choose what it is that they would like to do, so that I know they will be satisfied, and because it is the equitable thing to do. Respect, approbation, dignity, promote independence. That is my perspective of my work with them, always respecting their wishes, because the most important thing is to make an efficacious impact in their daily lives. I also have experience in fluid and nutrition, basic life support, catheter care, challenging behaviour, patience with diabetes, dementia, food hygiene and safety catering, COSHH. Additionally, I have had personal experience for 21 years because of my disabled twin sons. One has a physical disability that requires the use of a wheelchair due to his quadriplegia, and the other has autism and a behavioural disorder. They are the reason I love this job, because they have impacted my life in a way that has given me the yearning to help others that cannot help themselves. KT12 2RB 80273 Hello, some information on what I have been doing for the last four years - I was previously employed as a carer for a very frail lady in South Africa, mainly as her companion and driver, taking her to appointments and best of all, coffee dates. I arrived in the UK in June 2020 at the start of the lockdown due to Covid, at the beginning of my caring career in the UK I initially worked as a live-in carer in the Oxford area for some months, after which I decided to change to domiciliary caring and at the same time moved to Walton on Thames from Bristol as I wanted to be close to my daughters, one of whom lives in Walton and the other in London. I was full time employed as a domiciliary Carer through an Agency in Ashford for about a year and a half which is where I did a large proportion of my training at the same time have enjoyed meeting many lovely clients, who at times were challenging but we ended up being good friends and we both looked forward to our regular visits. Since leaving the agency environment I changed to a more self-employed way of working in the domiciliary caring industry in and around Walton, Weybridge, and Cobham, though have found myself visiting and driving clients as far as Leatherhead and Croydon. I have many hobbies but most of all enjoy knitting for my grandchildren of whom I have two, walking my dog along the river and all the wonderful parks around our area, reading, cooking and my regular yoga practice. 0 2 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"1","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"1","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"1","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"1","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"1","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":false,"field_care_type_sixth":"","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":false,"field_care_type_seven":""}

KT4 8RR 7598 I am eager to provide compassionate care to people who have trouble looking after their needs. I am a skilled and motivated individual who is passionate about improving people's lives. I have a proven ability to meet the personal care needs of clients in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes their independence. I am easy going by nature and able to get along with most situations and people. My care role started with my grandma and since then it is present in my life :) I came to the UK in 2014 and started my career with a care agency. I was trained and when I have received a Certificate of Fundamental Care I become a carer. I used to work with a variety of adults clients - disable or elderly. In March this year, I attended training centred around dementia: BPSD and physiotherapy. 0 2 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"1, 4","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"1, 4","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"1, 4","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"1, 4","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"1, 4","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"1, 4","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":"1, 4"}
