I can definitely do a good roast. When my clients eat well, heartily, I know they are happy and doing well. I have worked as a Live In Carer with people with intermediate to advance dementia, Alzheimer's, the elderly with limited mobility due to severe arthritis, spinal and brain injury, as well as difficulty with communication, visually and hearing impaired, accident rehabilitation, post-operative recovery, allergies. I can assist with hygiene, toileting, eating, cleaning, medication administration and any administrative tasks which need support. I have a full driving license forb business use, take clients for medical appointments, assist with administrative tasks, and enjoy taking clients out to meet friends or a meal. I am patient, a good listener, and enjoy working closely with others - especially older people. I have about 4 years experience as a carer but it seems to me like I've been a carer for a lifetime because I'm so passionate about caring for the elderly. I enjoy listening to older people, I am a very patient person and am always happy to work at my clients' pace, following their lead.  I have worked in end of life care, people living with dementia, stroke, etc. Helping to make clients comfortable at home as a live-in carer. I work well with other palliative care team members, such as doctors, and also with supporting family members with respite care. I love looking after other people, so when my children left home, I decided to become a carer and continue what I’m really good at. I love reading, watching movies, especially family and true life ones. I am a good cook! It’s a big part of my life, and I love trying out new recipes.
