BB11 2NX 14625 I have studied Health and Social Care, I also worked in different health care settings such in Care homes, hospitals and supported living. Attending University studying Community Health Care Studies and working in the industry equipped me with the skills and experience of working with different professionals within the multi-disciplinary teams in the care of patients. I have excellent team working skills and I am a calm person and I am able to handle difficult and challenging situations to which l can take appropriate measures. I have good listening skills, caring is my nature and I am non-judgmental. I started working in a care setting from 2010 until now. I have also volunteered in Drug and Alcohol Independence for 3 years whereby I used to facilitate the groups, one-to-one and home visits. I have worked in mental health with different conditions. I am a patient, trustworthy, reliable and honest team member who can challenge issues l believe should be challenged to improve performance. I am a mother of two boys, I know the importance of good hygiene, washing and making sure the client's personal care is done everyday and also allow them to take the lead in doing so as to not to take their independence away. l also know the importance of healthy eating, I am able to plan a healthy eating plan and cooking home cooked meals is not a problem.. I like to take walks for improved mental state and exercise. l also like watching football and listening to music. What l like to do is have respect between the whole team that l will be working with including the client and maintain team confidentiality however, I know there may be times where confidentiality should be broken for example when l suspect someone is abused etc. 1 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"1","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":false,"field_care_type_second":"","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":false,"field_care_type_third":"","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":false,"field_care_type_fourth":"","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":false,"field_care_type_fifth":"","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":false,"field_care_type_sixth":"","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":false,"field_care_type_seven":""}

OL16 1ST 8252 I believe caring for others has to come naturally, I was brought up by my paternal grandmother already in her 70s, helping her around with small things like picking something on the floor, handing it to her , giving her a drinks etc . As she progressed with age, I was also becoming a young woman,I could realise she was getting tired and I would offer to do anything for her, so I became a Carer without knowing. I loved reading novels and my grandmother enjoyed listening to me read out loud ,it became our Saturday night activity as I wouldn’t be going to school the following day. On Sundays we would walk to church and back for the fact that granny believed in keeping her muscles moving . Walking with my grandmother taught me to listen as she always had a tale to tell, Sundays became my favourite days as I was always looking forward to listening to another story. When I became a Professional Carer , that’s when I realised how much my childhood impacted in my life, I empathise with everyone I care for, I listen to them and participated in any activities they enjoy. Caring for elderly or anyone who needs my help gives me a purpose in life. In my spare time I like to exercise ,cook, watch movies or read. I have been a Professional Carer for the past nine years, cared for individuals with Dementia, Parkinson's,Epileptic,Physical disabilities ,COPD, Stroke,Palliative care. Started caring in a Nursing home for two and a half years ,moved to Supported living with young adults transitioning to adulthood from 2010 to 2015 . 2015 - 2017 worked with The Good Care Group as a Live-in Professional Carer supporting elderly with various conditions in their own homes. August 2017 my aunt had a stroke and I had to give up work and care for her. October 2018 she passed away, November 2018 I started working with Elder Care as a Live in Carer supporting elderly. As a Carer I have acquired various certificates including, Care Certificate, First Aid,Moving and Handling, Mental Health awareness Level 2 to mention a few. I’d like to believe that I am a great Carer as everyone I’ve cared for has given my employer a really good feedback about my work, as a trained Carer I believe in person centred care, we are all different and our needs are different, everything I do with anyone I seek permission and let them know what I wish to do. In addition I’m very flexible , committed , trusted and reliable individual. {"field_care_type_first":"0","field_care_type_second":"0","field_care_type_third":"0","field_care_type_fourth":"0","field_care_type_fifth":"0","field_care_type_sixth":"0","field_care_type_seven":"0"}

I can move/travel across the UK and Ireland to work with prospective clients who needs care at home, assistance in daily living, companion, help, assistance at work, running business, look after clients, families and property while they are away, housekeeping, traveling with clients and helping them while being away, etc. I got a Master's degree in Nursing and have a total of almost 4 years of experience as a Live in Carer/ Housekeeper/ Senior Companion/ Support Worker/ Nurse and in total of 12 years in the healthcare sector. I am incredibly reliable, motivated, dedicated, energetic, humble, resourceful, proactive, love being surrounded by people and these are important aspects of being an excellent worker in the private sector. My colleagues would describe me as a workaholic because at that point I was in a situation where I was working 3 different jobs per day for a long time while being a student. I find people appreciate my work and they support me with it, which is motivating. I am interested in helping others and I have never had an issue with adapting myself to something new. My hobbies include mostly sports and I have been training in cycling for 3 years professionally. I am also passionate about running, hiking and swimming and when I was younger, I did karate for 7 years. I am definitely an advocate for sports and I try to encourage others to also experience the joys of exercise 1 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"1, 4, 5, 3","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"1, 4, 5, 3","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"1, 4, 5, 3","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"1, 4, 5, 3","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"1, 4, 5, 3","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"1, 4, 5, 3","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":"1, 4, 5, 3"}

BB5 2RX 245678 Hi my name is Gertrude, but I prefer to be called Trudy for short. Before starting a family I had 7 years experience as as carer. I learned that hard work, listening and empathy were important. The attributes grew on me when I was dealing with cases of dementia and other chronic conditions associated with advancing years. I believe patience and fully understanding a client's needs helps in providing a more comfortable life. I have experience in personal grooming, hygiene, dressing, toileting and cooking. I have missed working with the elderly and now my children are at University. I have the opportunity to return to caring. I enjoy history. current affairs, sewing, cooking and tending my small vegetable garden. I prefer to have my clients more mobile and do not require hoisting. As I do not drive I am looking for clients through out the day to have longer hours of 5/10 hours shifts or within travelling distance of Accrington. I can also do sleeping nights and I am flexible on what nights I work to fit in with the clients needs. I can also do part time live in positions ideally 3/days in row with 30 miles of Accrington, when doing live in I prefer to have my 2 hours break each day. Please get in touch if I can be of help to you. 1 2 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"3","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"3","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"3","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"3","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"3","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"3","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":"3"}

HD7 6HG 280925 I’m Nancy, an experienced P/A currently living in West Yorkshire. I do specialise as a Palliative and End of Life Personal Assistant/Carer and as a community End of Life Doula but if you’re not palliative or end of life don’t let that put you off exploring if I might be the right person to meet your needs as I have a wealth of transferable skills and always open to learning new ones! I’ll also add to that to not look at my age and think “nah, she’ll be too old”. I’m healthy, enjoy running, walking, wild swimming and camping and am always up for making the most of life. Working in the end of life field is not all doom and gloom you know. Most people want to live fully right up until the last breath and that includes getting in as much laughter as possible so you could say I’m well versed in engaging with life even in the quiet moments which I love too. So, as well as supporting people in having their wish to die at home fulfilled as practicably as possible I also support people in living at home in a variety of ways. I'm here to alleviate some of the stresses of living independently and as fully as you can and make the time more about quality and less overwhelming. Now on to my End of Life Doula explanation. As an End of life Doula I serve as a non-medical practitioner, supporting you and your loved ones as you navigate your end of life experience. I make myself available to assist a dying individual and, typically, the family before, during, and after a death occurs in order to provide physical, emotional, psychological, and even spiritual support. I complement systems already in place, allowing caregivers to feel well supported and those living remotely the assurance that their loved-one is well supported. You can bring an End of Life Doula on board whether you are being cared for at home, care home, hospice or hospital. First and foremost an End of Life Doula is a grounding, reliable, knowledgeable, comforting and reassuring presence during an emotional time. I provide knowledge of the death process and a compassionate resource for families who may be overwhelmed and grieving. I advocate for you. I will meet you where you are and assist with developing a cohesive plan which honours all who are involved. But my service as a doula goes beyond that. I’m fully insured both as a doula and PA and have an Enhanced DBS on the update service. I'm a country girl at heart and would prefer a position located out of city or town. 1 2 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":"0","field_care_type_first":null,"field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":"0","field_care_type_second":null,"field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":"0","field_care_type_third":null,"field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":"0","field_care_type_fourth":null,"field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":"0","field_care_type_fifth":null,"field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":"0","field_care_type_sixth":null,"field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":"0","field_care_type_seven":null}
