RH9 8HX 54766 I have been in care work for 8 years in both residential home and private homes in a family setting. I have gained varied experience in that time supporting vulnerable young adults and elderly people in their homes. I was inspired to do such work as a consequence of helping to care for my autistic sister and helping care for my disabled brother in law. I care deeply about the work that I do and gain great job satisfaction from helping and improving the quality of life of the people that I care for. I am reliable ensuring that what needs to be done is done and is done to a high standard. I am empathetic, patient and compassionate. RH8 9NY 68098 My first experience of working in care was during my schooling when I key-worked a pupil living with dyspraxia and supported others with reading. This early start continued through volunteering in a local care home before university and working as a Home Carer primarily for the elderly during my vacations and as a residential Carer for adults with learning difficulties. My life then took a totally different direction and I worked in the corporate world for 20 years finally as an HR Director. Choosing early retirement (it really was early I’m currently 47) has enabled me to return to my passion of caring once more and had the privilege of working with a care company for almost 2 years. In that time I achieved my Care Certificate and met many lovely people along the way with differing needs; advanced dementia with double incontinence; palliative care of someone with bowel cancer and body wide secondaries up until hospice admission and those with age related physical limitations. Since leaving this company I have worked in a Consensus owned residential care facility for adults with complex learning difficulties supporting the individuals there to live their best lives. Both companies are great with training so I am up to date with all regulatory and additional training. Food can often become a chore for individuals and I enjoy making food enjoyable by involving them in the decision making and cooking process as much as possible. I enjoy gardening at home and where possible spend time with those that like to doing light gardening or visiting garden centres. When it comes for quieter times, reading aloud or sharing puzzles can be relaxing way too spend the time as can a good chat. I’ve travelled extensively so can usually join in with anecdotes on the places we have in common and love to learn about new ones. 2 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":false,"field_care_type_first":"","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"1, 4, 5, 3","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"1, 4, 5, 3","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":false,"field_care_type_fourth":"","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":false,"field_care_type_fifth":"","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":false,"field_care_type_sixth":"","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":false,"field_care_type_seven":""}

CR3 5TH 9205 Hi my name Francis but I like to go by Frank. I have over 14 years experience in the care industry, I’ve worked with many different vulnerable age groups from children to adults with varied needs and find this work very rewarding. I have cared for female and male clients. I have business insurance for my car so can take clients out for for the day. I’m friendly, caring and compassionate about supporting others around me that might need help. Meeting the needs of others through care and enabling their independence as long as possible keeps me smiling! I have experience in many different areas of care work and would be willing to work with young adults and children as well as older clients. I am experienced and qualified in - catheter care, peg feeding, medication administration via peg, dementia care, moving and handling, general medication administration, health and safety, general care of vulnerable adults and safe guarding. I also have experience in assessing care needs and building care plans. I am very competent in the kitchen and able to cook meals efficiently. Due to health reasons I have been advised by medical professionals not to have the covid 19 vaccines, instead I do lateral flow tests everyday and make sure I wear full ppe when caring for clients. I have a full clear UK driving licence which i have held for over 14 years. I am currently only doing hourly day care. I cannot work weekends due to family commitments. I am willing to travel up to 7 miles for daytime work. I am outgoing, physically fit and enjoy many outdoor activities like fishing, skating, climbing, and just being outside in nature. I have 2 young children who I love to take out and spend time with. Please contact me if you sense I’ve got the skills & qualities of the type of person you need to meet your person centred needs as this is something I highly value, being person centred based on each individual’ needs! 1 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":false,"field_care_type_first":"","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":false,"field_care_type_second":"","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":false,"field_care_type_third":"","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":false,"field_care_type_fourth":"","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":false,"field_care_type_fifth":"","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":false,"field_care_type_sixth":"","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":false,"field_care_type_seven":""}

I’m a very good listener, sensitive and trustworthy. and love to see the difference I make going to see the same person regularly. Building a working relationship is very important to me as I get to see any changes In a persons wellbeing. I’ve had experience of working as a team leader for one year in a care agency but my work in the community with the people that mattered was limited due to office work. I am enjoying being back out where I belong. I can provide lovely references from people whose family members I’ve looked after, my experience with mainly dementia clients involved personal care, medication, meal preparation, house cleaning and companionship. 1 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"1","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"1","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"1","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"1","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"1","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"1","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":"1"}

CR51QT 186005 My name is Sarah and I have been a carer for 8 years to people with learning disabilities. I then went on to do my nurse training in mental health and further study in public health nursing. I have decided to become a personal assistant/ carer again as I've realised that I love this type of work most and enjoy making a difference in people's lives. I recently gave up my full time post as a public health nurse to care for my father who had dementia. Unfortunately he passed away due to covid but I actually loved spending this time with him and although this was cut short it has made me understand what I really want to do with my career now and become a carer again. I have gained many skills and knowledge over the past 20 years working with the NHS. My background is mostly working with people in mental health, learning difficulties, and dementia care. I am very hard working and will support anyone as if they are my own family and recognise peoples needs are very unique and tailor my approach to care on a very individual basis. I have two children aged 10 and 14 one of which has a mental health condition. I love to go for long walks, cycle and run. I enjoy travelling when able to and I also like gardening. 2 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":false,"field_care_type_sixth":"0","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":false,"field_care_type_seven":"0"}

RH19 2DR 275070  I had to describe myself in three words, I would say: reliable, caring, loyal.  I have been working as a live-in carer in the UK since 2017. Until now I was working clients with spinal cord injuries. But I also have experience with people living with dementia, MS, Parkinson's disease, Down syndrome. I worked with my last client from 2020 to 2024. The most important thing for me is mutual trust and respect. I like to having conversation, but I'm also good at listening when I need to. I always keep in mind that the client I work with should feel as comfortable as possible. To achieve this, I try to quickly learn their daily routines and habits, support them in what they need help with, but also allow them to remain independent.  I like to cook, either alone or with the client, for example following his/her instructions if he/she is physically limited.  I read a lot, especially fiction and am a big movie lover. Since 2011 I have been practicing a wonderful martial art, TaiJi. Contact me, and I’ll reply as soon as I can. Thank you. {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":"0","field_care_type_first":null,"field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":"0","field_care_type_second":null,"field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":"0","field_care_type_third":null,"field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":"0","field_care_type_fourth":null,"field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":"0","field_care_type_fifth":null,"field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":"0","field_care_type_sixth":null,"field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":"0","field_care_type_seven":null}

Rh15ap 42540 Hi I am new to 'caring' on its own. I am a retired paramedic and prior to that worked in nursing homes from the age of 16. I have a part time job as a school mini bus driver so looking for flexible work around this job. I have gained much experience in my 29 years for Surrey ambulance service (secamb) with a wide range of skills - many transferable in the care/home setting. I consider myself friendly and approachable with a good sense of humour. I enjoy meeting people and happy to put my hand to anything. I enjoy getting out and about visiting places of interest or simply a country side walk. Indoors, I'm not the best cook in the world but enjoy food. I love watching films (always have a movie on whilst in my sewing room).
