SM7 1NP 48614 I'm willing to travel up to 30-40 miles fro RH11. I have been a carer for 4 years and I have worked with different groups of people which has equipped me with more knowledge and understanding of how to give person centred care to the individual. I have worked mainly with people with mental health conditions, children and adults with disabilities, autism and dementia, also complex care needs. I enjoy doing activities like dancing, running and cleaning I find it therapeutic. I would described myself as an easy going individual, loving, caring and honest. I understand a number of health care courses to boost my knowledge and also to gain more insight about different conditions that I care for in health care. 0 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"1, 4, 5, 3","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":false,"field_care_type_fifth":"","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":false,"field_care_type_sixth":"","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":false,"field_care_type_seven":""}

SM1 4RY 155416 Hi, my name is Julie. I have worked in the care sector for almost 30 years, and love everything about it. My previous roles have included theatre nursing, support worker, health care assistant and managing a supported living service for people with learning disabilities for around 8 years. I am a good listener, always put my clients needs and preferences at the forefront of what I do, and treat everyone with dignity and respect. My rates are negotiable depending on care needs, with more simple care being charged less and more complex care being charged more. Thanks for reading and I look forward to working with you. 0 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"1","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"1","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"1","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"1","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"1","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":false,"field_care_type_sixth":"","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":false,"field_care_type_seven":""}

CR51QT 186005 My name is Sarah and I have been a carer for 8 years to people with learning disabilities. I then went on to do my nurse training in mental health and further study in public health nursing. I have decided to become a personal assistant/ carer again as I've realised that I love this type of work most and enjoy making a difference in people's lives. I recently gave up my full time post as a public health nurse to care for my father who had dementia. Unfortunately he passed away due to covid but I actually loved spending this time with him and although this was cut short it has made me understand what I really want to do with my career now and become a carer again. I have gained many skills and knowledge over the past 20 years working with the NHS. My background is mostly working with people in mental health, learning difficulties, and dementia care. I am very hard working and will support anyone as if they are my own family and recognise peoples needs are very unique and tailor my approach to care on a very individual basis. I have two children aged 10 and 14 one of which has a mental health condition. I love to go for long walks, cycle and run. I enjoy travelling when able to and I also like gardening. 2 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":false,"field_care_type_first":"","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":false,"field_care_type_second":"","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":false,"field_care_type_third":"","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":false,"field_care_type_fourth":"","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":false,"field_care_type_fifth":"","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":false,"field_care_type_sixth":"","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":false,"field_care_type_seven":""}

SM6 9LT 15708 I love looking after people and bringing a smile to their face, making them feel that they are supported, their dignity is maintained and they are as independent as possible while being safe and having their needs met. I am a very experienced carer. Excellent command of English as my first language, albeit with a South African accent, which I haven't lost, despite being back in the UK for 20 years! I've been involved in caring in a number of ways for 10 years. During this time I have looked after people from birth to over 100 years old, the oldest being 103, all with a variety of challenges, disabilities, personal quirks and individual requirements. I was a foster carer for children with global development delay, autism, blindness, learning difficulty as well as those suffering from neglect, abuse and trauma. I went on to do live in-care and have experience in advanced dementia, Parkinson's and Alzheimer's, I also looked after a lady with paralysis from her neck down. I was involved in rehabilitation at a private hospital for those with brain injury and more recently did domiciliary care and worked in an upmarket residential home for assisted living. I am punctual, reliable, honest, caring, patient, calm and respectful. I can cook, have a good understanding of nutrition, allergy requirements and dietary needs. I'd love to hear from you to see whether we can work together! 0 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"1, 3","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"1, 3","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"1, 3","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"1, 3","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"1","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":false,"field_care_type_sixth":"","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":false,"field_care_type_seven":""}

KT19 9GF 131419 I have been working as a carer since 2003. First as a Home Carer and since 2015 as a Reablement Support Worker. Prior to that i was a registered Child Minder , i have also worked in a Nursery and a Play Centre. After using my skills in my own personal situation when my mother was diagnosed with a terminal illness, i decided that been a carer was the right path for me. I am very hard working, a good listener. I am also kind , caring and like to give people choice in their every day life style. For example someone might not want to have a shower every day then they could have a strip wash. I treat every one equal but individually by giving them the opportunity to participate in their care and to fulfil their potential. 0 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"1","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"1","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"1","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":false,"field_care_type_fourth":"","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":false,"field_care_type_fifth":"","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":false,"field_care_type_sixth":"","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":false,"field_care_type_seven":""}
