ML9 3AW 117017 Hello, My name is Debbie, and I have been working within the care industry for just over 7 years now. I started doing community care, then moved into residential care and finally live-in care. Along the way, I learnt that the most important things when caring for someone is to have empathy, patience, and a true understanding of that person's needs. Confidentiality is extremely important to me. I always give 100% of myself. Some of the other things I have are: - Advanced First aid Communication and interpersonal skills - Monitoring and recording patient data - Confidentiality - Dressing wounds and administering medication Hygiene and health and safety Time management - Meal preparation - Gardening - Outings 0 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"1, 5, 3","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"1, 5, 3","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"1, 5, 3","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"1, 5, 3","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"1, 5, 3","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"1, 5, 3","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":"1, 5, 3"}

ML3 9PZ 25517 I have been in care for 20 years. I worked with a client with spinal injuries for 12 years just leaving 2019 as travel was getting a lot. I really loved my job which covered personal care cooking cleaning etc. During my time with that client I also worked adhoc with a women with Parkinson’s for 3 years which I really enjoyed. Both of these clients were sleepovers both waking and non waking. The last year I have worked in an nursing home environment with clients with dementia, elderly and infirm and strokes I have enjoyed this too but really enjoyed doing 1-1 care as well. Recently I worked with a client with muscular dystrophy who was ventilated this came to an end due to funding cuts. I have 3 grown up boys and now a lovely grandson and enjoy socialising walking reading and listening to music. I’m doing a course through skill network challenging behaviour in children and I am completing my svq 2 in care through upskill with south lanarkshire council and I’m hoping to do my svq 3 this way aswell. I’m really bubbly and outgoing and I get on great with everyone. 0 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":false,"field_care_type_sixth":"","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":false,"field_care_type_seven":""}

KA18 3RE 269138 Full of smiles, positivity and a calm manner, it's a joy to meet and support people to continue living their best life, making choices at the level that suits them to maintain some control and independence over their life. I take time to listen and engage in activities such as reading, gardening, baking or having discussions about interests that are important too you (your family member). Always happy to be the company and connection that we all need when requested in addition to meeting all the basic needs to maintain psychical health. Understanding that private time and space is enjoyed but some clients having reassurance someone is on hand, I am able to engage in activities with your family member or amuse myself with interests and hobbies.
