TR18 3LL 261938 I have been a Carer for many years and I find the work very rewarding. I love a challenge and I'm not afraid of hard work. I love getting clients involved with activities such as baking or doing puzzles. I always respect the client and their homes and lways give them choices unless they don't have the capacity. I always respect their decision but if I feel it is not in their best interests I find a way to let them know this without causing distress. Dignity is most important and I treat them how I would want my parents treated with utmost respect and dignity. Don't always get it right but keep at it till I do. I always think it isn't easy having to accept you need help and having a stranger in your home can be awkward but I do my best to make the client feel at ease. I am very bubbly also calm depending on the clients nature. I enjoy looking after clients with dementia early stages and advanced, improving a clients quality of care is very rewarding. I am well trained in using a hoist and I always reassure a client when carrying this task out as it can be distressing for them. I also specialise in pallatve care knowing how difficult this is for client and family I treat them with the upto respect. 0 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"4, 5, 3","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"4, 5, 3","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"4, 5, 3","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"4, 5, 3","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"4, 5, 3","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"4, 5, 3","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":"4, 5, 3"}

TR8 5EL 226213 Hi there I’m Sheryl, I’ve worked with many patients/clients in 4 years the main learning was from my dear dad. The expertise I’ve worked in are necrosis, wound dressing, seizures, early and late stage dementia, end of life care, palliative care, low to no Mobilty, personal care (washing, showering and dressing for the day and undressing ready for bed, oral hygiene. I can also do light cleaning, lunches, ‘happy days’ out of the house/home to gardens, the beach, wave watching, memory clinics, any wish that your loved one would love to do if able, I have my own car a trip out the house to change the scenery which is much needed for the soul and mental health. respite care from 1 day to 7 days for those amazing family members taking on the role of Caring themselves that need that break to recharge your battery’s, I totally respect and feel this as I did myself with my own dad. Ive helped with Parkinson’s, MSA, stroke, catheter care, medications, cancer, incontenance, mental health, ADHD, Bipolar, anxiety, depression, early and late stage dementia, long covid, dialyses patients or any that find everyday tasks a struggle such as hoovering, laundry, shopping. Please send me a message if your wishes and needs and I will do my best for you. My story I have looked after my dear dad solo in 2022, I gave him everything he could possibly want or need as wished by him as he rightly deserved (he looked after me so it’s only right I am able to do the same) I gave him his medications, cooked for him, picked up prescriptions, guided him with his walker, to the toilet safely, then the commode in his room, when bed bound I gave him a shave to feel fresh, washed his body to feel fresh, dressed and undressed him, changed his adult Bed pads, stayed right next to him, read him story’s he read to me, like old fables, simple stories he read me. I stayed with dad overnight for 2 months in his room and watched him closely mostly at night to be sure he was safe as he had to have one leg out of the bed due to his bad leg which was tricky keeping him in his own bed with no hospital bed as it wasn’t workable in his case and also the medication he was on was very strong, i kept dad safe from any falls in the night and have no regrets with the care I gave dad, he said thank you for everything you do for me x I’d love to help you or your loved one have the same care and attention as my own dad, with upmost respect, stories read, help with crosswords, jigsaws, colouring books, feeding, watering and watching the birds, I know exactly how you feel at these difficult times. I live in a cottage on the outskirts of newquay, we have 6 chickens and 5 cats no more goats! I love the garden, it’s time for the garden to start blossoming soon, I’m happy to do a little gardening, cleaning, weeding, bird feeding , dog walking anything I can help you or your loved one out as a personal assistant also, I can help with phone calls and appointments and take you to your appointments wait and return for you so there is No hanging around in hospital for hours. My love and drive in this life is to help others, it always has been especially after looking after my Dad. I do have a nutritional background which has been a passion for the past 15 years and still ongoing alongside my pre hospital and medical care. I’m also a competent trained phlebotomist (taking blood samples) I’m also registered with HPAC (health practice associates council) as an emergency first responder. I have worked with the ambulance service as an ‘ambulance care assistant’ I’ve worked shifts at A&E treliske with the NHS. I can Come fully equipped to take patient stats, blood pressure, oxygen rate, pulse rate, blood sugar levels, if needed to make sure everything is as it should be for peace of mind if needed. Maybe you as a family need a little break for a day or few days off for a holiday? I can also give 24 hour, live in care or 6,8 or 12 hour care whichever suits you or your family. Rates negotiable dependant on situation. I offer a 1 week trial to so we are both compatible for both client and as a carer, no contract at all, I am fully insured via Curam. I Look forward to having a friendly chat with you for your tailored needs and wishes for you or your loved one. Happy days to take you or loved one out of their house safely or to sit at home while you take a time off for up to 5 hours for for £60 Any other dates or special occasions or while On holiday including the weekends please ask. TR7 2DZ 73509 Hello, I have been a care worker for the last 14 years. I have transport, am eligible to work in the UK (settled status). I have a vast amount of experience, mostly with dementia care, but also inclusive of Parkinson's, Diabetes, Stroke and end of life/palliative care. I am honest, a very good communicator, will always have the client's best interest at heart, diligent and very hygiene conscious. My philosophy is that, in as much as the customer needs to feel comfortable with me, so does the family - both are equally important. I have been told on a number of occasions I have a holistic, positive, calm approach to care. I hope this brief description will give you a good idea as to the type of Care Worker I am. PL253JD 91907 I have been working in health care for 12 years now. I have had an interest in gaining many experiences to increase my understanding of the profession. I have been privileged to have worked in people's own homes, in care homes and the hospital setting. My training and experience has allowed me to confidently carry out self-employed health care work within a family. I have studied the human body and learnt about interesting subjects, such as skin integrity, which I find fascinating. I have completed many in house training courses, such as first aid and health and safety stoma care and catheter care. I have given person-centred care to people of different ages, backgrounds and health conditions which I find mutually beneficial. I get to learn more about you and you get someone that takes a keen interest in supporting your needs.
