I have also supported young adults/children with Autism, learning disabilities in the community, supporting them to be independent, I always give my clients time to communicate and let them feel at ease, and treating them with respect. I have completed on line training with my current employer, Complex care agency, I have NVQ 3 in social care. I am currently employed with an agency supporting young adults with learning disabilities, I have updated all training which is online, e.g moving and handling, first aid. I am looking to work between the hours of 9.30 to 1.30, Mondays, Wednesday's or Fridays, term time only, in September I can work 2 hours from 9.45 til 11.45, Mondays, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and friday, as my son will be at preschool then, again term time only. If there are clients that need hoisting I would like to work with another carer or family member to help. I haven't had my covid vaccination, for personal choice, but I can test regular with covid test if needed. I am happy to look after males or females. Relevant health and social care legislation, policies, and guidelines, such as the Mental Capacity Act, Mental Health Act, Equality and Diversity Act, Safeguarding Act, and Human Rights Act, have guided my practice and decision-making. This helps me protect service users' rights over the care they receive. I have worked in different care settings, which allowed me to work with patients, families, carers, multidisciplinary teams, and other health-related bodies and organizations, including members of the public/visitors. Working in domiciliary care, care homes, and hospitals has given me practical experience in catheter care, stoma care, blood sugar monitoring, 1:1 observation, and administering prescribed medication.
