DH6 5JP 257921 Hello I achieved my Diploma in Adult Nursing from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2010. Since then I have worked in a selection of Nursing Homes, in Scotland as well as in England. In May I relocated to Durham and after careful consideration I have decided to work in Home-care. I want to enable clients to be able to stay and be looked after in the comfort of their own home. This In itself will improve their quality of life no end. I have a lot of empathy, patience and respect for the elderly, disabled and disadvantaged person. I can be trusted to provide person centred care and will always put the client’s needs first. I offer a combined service of caring and nursing depending on yours or your loved ones needs. I am happy to plan a consultation to discuss this. Please note that final rates will be discussed and reflect the nature of care agreed. 0 2 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"1, 4","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"1, 4","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"1, 4","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"1, 4","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"1, 4","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"1, 4","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":"1, 4"}

DL16 6HQ 26088 I have many years of care in domiciliary and live in. I have always had a passion to care of the elderly, as my grandmother had a care home when I was a young girl. I also took care of my grandmother for many years so feel I have the patience and natural love for them. It is very rewarding when you see how clients react towards you when you get to know them and when you can see they are happy and content in your presence. It's important to get on with your client and to make it a happy place at all times so that your client can feel relaxed and feel safe at all times. Communication is also very important. I have completed E learning and my care certificate, have a full drivers licence. I currently work in a care home but feel my strong points are working one on one with a client either doing waking nights or sleep overs. I have also done live in care for one of my clients 15 miles from my own home. 0 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"1","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"1","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"1","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"1","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":false,"field_care_type_fifth":"","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"1, 4","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":"1"}

DL14 6FH 51319 In my younger years, I was an education welfare officer for the local authority. I took voluntary redundancy after 20 years and started running my own business, as well as volunteering as an art therapist at Teesside Hospice. I then went to Australia for 5 years, where I helped a friend with Quadriplegia achieve his objectives and travel around Europe. I came back to the UK in April 2021 and took up a position as a live-in carer in Wiltshire for 18months. After this I became a Personal Assistant and carer for a paraplegic gentleman in Northampton. I'm trained in manual evacuation, sterile changing of dressings, care of suprapubic and lifting and handling. I would now prefer to work within a couple of hours' drive from home in Durham or York. Any client will find me friendly, reliable, honest, and caring. My aim is to care for a person in the same way I would like to be cared for when it's my turn. I have a holistic approach to my work. I can cook meals from around the world but also very happy and able to turn out simple tasty British cuisine. I have my own car and a clean driving licence. My enhanced DBS is up to date, too. My previous clients and their families would be happy to provide references, as would my previous employers. I'm very happy to be considered for emergency relief work if needed. 0 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"4, 5","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"4, 5","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"4, 5","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"4, 5","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"4, 5","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"4, 5","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":"4, 5"}
